Calgary Summer Chess Camp 2025:
A fun-filled 3-day chess camp designed for chess players aged 7-12 who already know how to move the chess pieces. This camp combines engaging chess lessons, exciting competitions, friendly casual chess games, and active outdoor play, making it the perfect summer experience for young chess enthusiasts!

Normal Price: $275 CAD (taxes included)
Registration Deadline: July 15, 11:59pm.
Camp Date: July 22 - July 24, 2025, 9am - 4pm.

Summer Chess Camp Skill Levels:
1) Starter: Knows how the pieces move but has no other knowledge.
2) Beginner: Knows how the pieces move but has some to limited knowledge of the chess rules and strategies.
3) Advanced Beginner: Very familiar with how the pieces move and the rules. Basic knowledge of endgame checkmates and different chess strategies.
4) Novice: Very familiar with the basic endgame checkmates. Some knowledge of tactics and middle game fundamentals. Understands opening fundamentals.
5) Proficient: Complete knowledge of the basic endgame checkmates. Decent middle game fundamentals and knowledge of middlegame strategies. Good knowledge of tactics and has good opening fundamentals.
